Who these terms are between

Cursive Sheets (cursivesheets.com) is published by AdOpsRule LLC. By using the site or printing anything from it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The site needs no account, so there is nothing to register for and nothing to cancel.

What you may do with the worksheets

Every worksheet, guide and PDF on this site is free to use for personal, family, classroom, tutoring and homeschool teaching. You may download, print, photocopy and hand out as many copies as you need, for as many students as you teach, in any school, co-op, library or home, without asking permission and at no cost. You may print the sheets with or without the tracing letters, on US Letter or A4, and you may keep copies in a homework folder, a binder or a shared drive for your own students.

Teachers may include a printed sheet in a lesson packet given to their own class. Attribution is welcome but not required; a link to the page is the most useful form of credit.

What you may not do

You may not sell the worksheets or PDFs, charge for access to them, bundle them into a paid product, workbook, course or subscription, or offer them as a download on another website or app, whether free or paid. Reposting the PDFs or the page content on another site, marketplace or file-sharing service is not permitted; link to the page instead.

You may not remove or alter the site name and address printed at the foot of each PDF, present the material as your own work, or use theCursive Sheets name or logo to suggest that AdOpsRule LLC endorses a product or service. Automated bulk downloading of pages or PDFs is not permitted.

Anything outside the personal, classroom and homeschool use above — a commercial tutoring product, a printed workbook for sale, a school district website that hosts the files — needs written permission first. Ask at the address below; the answer is usually yes for educational uses.

Copyright, and what is in the public domain

The worksheet layouts, the page text, the letter-formation notes and the original practice sentences and passages are the work of AdOpsRule LLC and are protected by copyright. The permission above is a license to use them, not a transfer of ownership.

The copywork passages and quotations on the paragraph and sentence sheets — Lincoln, the Declaration of Independence, Longfellow, Emerson, Franklin, Stevenson, Lazarus, Aesop in a nineteenth-century translation — are in the public domain in the United States: each was first published before 1929 or is a work of the United States government. Each sheet names its author, title and year. Those texts belong to everyone and may be copied freely; only our arrangement of them on the page is ours.

The cursive and label fonts embedded in the PDFs (Dancing Script and Inter) are open-source fonts published under the SIL Open Font License, which permits their use in documents like these.

How the worksheets are made, and their limits

Worksheets are built from curated letter, word and sentence lists and public-domain texts by a script, and checked automatically against a fixed handwriting curriculum and content rules before publication. The first sheets on the site, published in August 2026, were drafted by an AI model against the same rules. No sheet is reviewed one by one by a credentialed teacher before it goes up, and the site does not claim otherwise; the about page explains the method.

The material is provided for teaching practice only. It is not a curriculum, an assessment or professional advice of any kind, and it does not replace a teacher looking over a sheet before handing it out. Check a worksheet before using it. If you find an error — a misformed instruction, a word that does not suit the stated grade, a misquoted passage — tell us and it will be corrected or removed.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or that the site will be available, error-free or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AdOpsRule LLC, its members and anyone working on Cursive Sheets are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the site or its materials, however caused. If any liability is found despite this section, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is nothing. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-party sites

Links to other sites, including the banners for our own sister worksheet sites and the links to Google’s privacy tools, are provided for convenience. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content.

Availability and changes

The site is a free service. We may add, change, move or withdraw any page, worksheet or feature at any time without notice, and we may revise these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which AdOpsRule LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules.
